Class details

For some of you, this will be an entirely new experience & for others the yoga space & mat will feel very familiar. No previous yoga experience is necessary, you are very welcome just as you are.

 

Practice encourages us to listen to our bodies with honesty & compassion. To honour our own truth, interpretations, strengths & vulnerabilities.

 

Each time we practice yoga it’s as if it’s the first time, with what my teacher has always described as a Beginner’s Mind…open & curious to learn & journey within….

Skype Online Group Classes

  • £10/one hour, £12/75 mins & £15/90 mins, as per weekly schedule

  • Currently Mondays 9-10am, Tuesdays 6.15-7.30pm & Thursdays 9.15-10.45am.

 

Skype Online Private Classes

  • £50/hour one to one or £60 for two students by arrangement.

  • Please provide 24 hours cancellation notice otherwise full payment will need to be made

  • Please provide me with your Skype contact name and I will invite you in a few minutes before class starts to make sure all is working well

  • Skype payments via bank transfer, please ask for details

  • Payment due on the day of class

 

Skype Classes - what to expect and getting ready for class 

  • Please download the Skype app and provide me with your contact name so I can connect with you

  • I suggest a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the class

  • You'll need your yoga mat with enough room to spread out your arms around and behind you.

  • A blanket or block if you need one too

  • Have anything to hand that may provide comfort and support

  • You'll need WIFI connection and maybe choose to use your mobile phone, laptop or tablet screen, whichever is clearer for you

  • Please note that depending on numbers you will be able to see other students participating on the screen in group classes and its important that you feel comfortable with this

 

Private Indoor/in person Classes 

  • Indoor in student homes classes (subject to space available for some distancing)

  • Health Form/Disclaimer will need to be read, completed and signed before we meet

  • Risk Assessment available on request

  • One to one classes one hour £50 or 90 minutes £60

  • Two students per class one hour £60 or 90 minutes £70

  • Payment by bank transfer, please ask for details.

  • Please provide 24 hour cancellation notice, otherwise full payment needs to be made

Private Indoor/in person Classes - what to expect and getting ready for class 

  • Practice space will need to accommodate two yoga mats with enough room to extend arms out behind and to each side and for the practice space to be ventilated. Some distance in between is optional.

  • Students need to have their own yoga mat & possibly a blanket for extra warmth in Relaxation or to fold as padding for any tender areas of the body, if necessary. You might also wish to have a block, which can be used to elevate/support the head when laying down or to sit on, for added stability.

Private Garden Classes, weather-permitting, one to one, one hour class, £50

 

Indoor Group Class, Mondays 7-8.30pm Shenley Village Hall, 108 London Road Shenley Herts WD7 9BS - what to expect & getting ready for class 'such a special space for practice'

  • £15/class or monthly Block of 4 £48 in advance - Payment made via bank transfer only & before class (please ask for bank details) Money not transferable for missed classes & to let me know about planned absence

  • Parking on the main road

  • Students need to bring their own yoga mat & possibly a blanket for extra warmth in Relaxation (especially useful with windows currently open) or to fold as padding for any tender areas of the body, if necessary. You might also wish to bring a block, which can be used to elevate/support the head when you're laying down or to sit on, for added stability, again if it feels more comfortable.

  • To kindly switch mobile phones on to Silent before class begins

  • As government restrictions lift, please be aware of the following - it is now optional for students to hand sanitise on arrival in the building - to arrive in time for a prompt start - to socially distance if that feels more comfy - wearing a face mask on your yoga mat is optional - not to attend class if you experience any COVID symptoms - Hall will be ventilated during class

  • A Health Form/Disclaimer will need to be completed & signed by new & returning students to the space - please download or ask for a form, to email back & to bring signed copy to class

All new students must complete and sign a Health Form/Disclaimer and a copy WhatsApped/emailed back to me before your first session.
