Yoga Class details
For some of you, this will be an entirely new experience & for others the yoga space & mat will feel very familiar. No previous yoga experience is necessary, you are very welcome just as you are.
Practice encourages us to listen to our bodies with honesty & compassion. To honour our own truth, interpretations, strengths & vulnerabilities.
Each time we practice yoga it’s as if it’s the first time, with what my teacher has always described as a Beginner’s Mind…open & curious to learn & journey within….
A calm & welcoming space, in which to unwind, stretch out and nourish yourself.
A much-needed breather from everyday demands, and time away from screens.
Acknowledgement of who you truly are, honestly and lovingly. An opportunity to consciously slow down and come in to the present moment. Learning to gradually develop flexibility and confidence, resilience and ease of movement; steadiness and stillness within Mind, Body and Soul. A process of self-enquiry, for many a choice to bravely explore thoughts and feelings (especially the more difficult ones such as pain, confusion, sadness & vulnerability) Greater awareness of breath and contemplation of ancient philosophy. Potential for lightness, joy & peace within.

I suggest a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for the duration of the class

You'll need your yoga mat with enough room to spread out your arms around and behind you.

A blanket or block if you need one too

Have anything to hand that may provide comfort and support

You'll need WIFI connection and maybe choose to use your mobile phone, laptop or tablet screen, whichever is clearer for you & allows me the best view of you on the screen

Please note that depending on numbers you will be able to see other students participating on the screen in group classes and its important that you feel comfortable with this

Private In Person Classes - what to expect and getting ready for class

Practice space will need to accommodate the appropriate number of yoga mats with enough room to extend arms out behind and to each side. Some distance in between is optional, as is ventilation.

Students need to have their own yoga mat & possibly a blanket for extra warmth in Relaxation or to fold as padding for any tender areas of the body, if necessary. You might also wish to have props such as a block, which can be used to elevate/support the head when laying down or to sit on, for added stability.

Parking on the main road or in surrounding roads, please avoid residential driveways

Students need to bring their own yoga mat & possibly a blanket for extra warmth in Relaxation or to fold as padding for any tender areas of the body, if necessary. You might also wish to bring a block, which can be used to elevate/support the head when you're laying down or to sit on, for added stability, again if it feels more comfortable.

Online Relaxation sessions, Thursdays 6-7pm - will include breathing, meditation & chanting practices, format will vary week to week. Time for pause & recharge. Pending interest.

Also on offer Private Relaxation, Breath work, Meditation & Chakra-based sessions for those with less capacity for movement or perhaps struggling with depleted energy-levels, such as Fatigue or associated symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Post/Long Covid, £50 per one hour class or £60 for 90 minutes.
Yoga sessions for small or large businesses - could this be useful within your workplace? Are your staff or colleagues struggling with low energy levels, stress or anxiety? Could some yoga practice be offered as part of a Well-being programme or manifesto? A peaceful space to rest, strengthen & replenish in mind & body, to feel acknowledged & supported. Cost will depend on numbers. Please ask for details.

Further Payment details:
Payments are due by/on the day of class & made via bank transfer, please ask for bank details.
Payment is not transferable for missed classes, option to attend another class in the same week you are unable to make your usual class.
Please let me know about any planned absence.
Please provide 24 hour cancellation notice, otherwise full payment to be made.
Yoga receipts emailed at the end of each month.
